You and me both. I’d have thought they’d settle at the £500 mark or so by now.

I can’t help feeling the whole sneaker thing is having a bit of a bubble moment. Those who buy to enjoy will continue to buy to enjoy.

But when a culture becomes more of a business to some, and weekly re-releases of AJ1s sell multiples of the latest Jordan 33 then something will have to give. Stockx recently got $50m in series B funding; when you’ve got old school VCs like Battery Ventures throwing big bucks at the game, then things have changed.

I’m going to have a look in the old town tomorrow to see if I can place an order.

I’m actually getting a bit bored at the minute... there’s the odd pairs that interest, and then they’re really limited. Those overkill ZX10000 you had to go.l to Berlin for with a week notice, yeah right for people with actual lives. The next pair coming out 23rd I’ve heard are really limited too, and I can’t see the Afew x Hummel hitting the website tbh

Speaking of Jordan releases. I entered for the Travis Scott xxxiii's and got a notification from my bank that END. were trying to take £171.95 out of my account and that it had been blocked pending my approval. I had previously used Paypal, but set up my card with END. in the week. Any way - looked at my e-mails and it says I wasn't successful. Did I receive that because the payment was blocked, or was it just a matter of course because it's a new payee?

AFAIK if your payment isn't immediately authorised they just move on to someone else.

I'd get it sorted if I were you.

I've sorted it. I updated my END. account and for some reason my bank took exception and declined it. Wouldn't have been a problem on a normal purchase but as this was a draw I missed out.
