Quality! I wish I hadn’t missed out on those.
Regrettably had to use Stockx for the first time.. On a positive note, the whole process was very good.
Did you get the funky case to go with them or just the regular Nike box?
Ooh these look pretty (given the very brief teaser shots) and no doubt practically impossible to get hold of. Sean Wotherspoon’s up and coming three way collab with Atmos and ASICS “Gel Lyte iii”

I've read stories of people storing older trainers ie from back in 96.. not wearing them, yet the soles etc crack and become a trainer that you can't wear.
I have lots of pairs that I dont wear, just collect. Is it likely that the same thing will happen with these even though most are 2017 onwards..
Is it a case of the materials back then weren't great, hence cracking. And that the latest pairs will be ok in 15 years time ? Or crystal ball...

You’ve got a good few years before they’ll spoil. I have lots of pairs that I dont wear, just collect. Is it likely that the same thing will happen with these even though most are 2017 onwards..

Have a read here. If the trainers contain polyurethane (PU) then you run a risk of midsoles crumbling due to oxidisation. This is why Jordan 1’s can last 30 odd years and don’t show too much decay due to a rubber mid/outsole and leather upper compared to Jordan 3,4,5’s and so on and so on and air max’s which have more plastics and a PU midsole which doesn’t last the test of time and requires sole swaps.

It’s not just Nike too other brands suffer the same issues. I remember watching a video on YouTube about an adidas shop somewhere abroad which had loads of OG classics which were toast due to just being left in the boxes for decades.
