Yesterday I saw a car sticker which read:
'Prince
Danyal
on board'

Ugh...Danyal. Thats a new one!
It's an anagram of Dalyan, a place in Turkey known for its' volcanic mud baths, a disgusting stinky morass of vile and evil smelly highly polluted mud.
It is promoted to tourists as giving remarkably beneficial health-giving and age reducing properties.

Watching some of the antics of the tourists, I would hazard that this was the place where "Danyal" was conceived. A council trend initiated by the Beckhams, but corrupted by an inability to spell correctly.

Scotland particularly scottish football and its followers iv never met a Rangers or Celtic fan who I would be surprised to find overdosed on heroin.
It is a small minority that cause the problems, but what an awful bunch they are. Throw in some good old religious hatred (despite the fact none of them are religeous) and you have a good excuse to fight people over absolutely nothing. Glasgow was full of riot vans on old firm match days when I lived there, I'm sure it's the same now.

It is. Even in 2017 whilst I was staying at the SEC we were warned not to venture out if they were playing each other.

DIY on a Budget has been mentioned before but the other day someone posted up some triple bunkbeds they had built (fairly good job to be honest) a fire hazard and nightmare to change the covers but a good use of space.
However, despite some of the decoration being for the teeth itch thead the absolute highlight was the names - Noah (ok), Beau (not my choice but has a degree of legitimacy) and the council classic Jaxxon.

I worked up there a few years back and contracts could be won and lost on which team you supported. I was based in London at the time, where football fans were fairly tribal, but Glasgow was something else.

I’m nominating Stourport-on-Severn.

The surrounding area is lovely, with great river walks.

The town centre is just council. Bargain shops, chip shops, a massive shop only selling discount booze, and the cherry on top is a Staffie rescue charity shop.

Full of fat blokes the colour of cooked lobster walking around topless with their guts hanging over the top of their shorts.

That's just football in general.

How else would you award contracts other than based on 'what school you went to'? confusedhehe

Not just contracts. Papists versus Lutherans has always been bigger than wendyball, always will be.
And on that note, here’s the best question I’ve ever read on Google.

This type f thing is very council.

Sure, having lost my mum I can truly emphasise with the pain, but why post on FB addressing her directly?

Is he expecting her to respond? It's pointless, silly and council

My wife grew up here and "Celtic or Rangers" was always the 1st thing asked,as a metaphor for what flavour god botherer you were.
She couldn't give a toss about football, but her brother is a full on blue wearing Orangeman (& a complete
wker as well)

It also had one of the best car parts shops in the area Lloyds right on the High Street which the council compulsory purchased to 'improve' the area. That was 4 years ago or more and all they did was create an unsurfaced car park.

The residents are lovely too, not just the area. It's the Black Country's playground and that's where the wobbly guts come from smile

There was a pound shop at one stage - but it went bust.

Staffie rescue shops are not uncommon around here. Staffies are not uncommon either.

Not that I live there, dear me no smile

Always had the thought in my mind that it was quite upmarket, ended up there a few weeks ago, my god, it's like a land-locked Blackpool......grim.

I used to work for a company with a depot in Paisley that I had to visit on a regular basis. The population of Paisley is made up of 1/3 on heroin, 1/3 on methadone and 1/3 prescribed methadone but selling it to pay for heroin.

They are still trading but in an industrial estate and it's lost its character. In fact I think they are selling up to retire. They really did know their stuff and carried stock too. Very helpful people.

I think you look worse here than him biggrin

He's lost his mum, whats the harm in that post on his own timeline? Its not offensive, its not asking for money, its nothing really.

Its not pointless if it gives him an outlet to post what he's feeling, and let his friends reach out to him is it?
