Agreed. It's a bit off that he's being mocked on here for that.I guess the football shirt photos and living in Hull make him easy pickings but I think its says a lot more about the people picking on him online, than it does about him.
This is council.

Yet....
'told she would not be allowed to take her shopping home from the Hessle Road Asda despite paying the £474.90 bill on her card'
How does it pay some so well to live off the state? Some 10 years ago I was in a bad place health wise, with no work, for the first time in 16 years of full time work I needed help. £78 a week, and interest only on my mortgage (at 1%, my mortgage was 4.4) was all I was entitled to from the state, I would have been buried within months, had I not figured my way through the mess. I'll reiterate, a £475 shop, whilst on benefits.
That's something to be 'raging' about, love.

universal credit is basically 1 benefit. instead of someone getting XX amount in 'jobseekers' or ESA, xx amount on child benifit etc... they are means tested as normal, and all the money is paid in a montly lump sum. instead of every 2 weeks for one benefit, or 4 weeks for another, etc...Yet....

Hull and Grimsby basically try and out council each other every day. Terrible places.
That's one thing I don't miss about living in North Lincs!
My in laws live in a village near Grimsby, being somewhat Hyacinth Bouquet, they tell people "Lincolnshire".That's one thing I don't miss about living in North Lincs!
If I'm there I always helpfully chip in "just outside Grimsby".
