I know what you’re getting at, but joking aside, it wasn’t a rule, it was a given, let’s be reasonable here, if you’re a plumber, and your sister bought some new taps and wanted them fitted, would you charge her for the job?
If my nieces or nephews needed a ride to the airport, they just asked uncle Frank, am I going to say no?

I know what you mean Frank. I fix things for a living and fix stuff for friends and family if I think I can do it in less than a couple of hours and don't expect anything in return.

What I (or anyone else I know) don't do is fk relatives.
