Mine was well in her 60s and apparently used Polyfilla as a makeup foundation.
Nobody fancied her in the least!

Flat floor conversions. No idea why, but seems to be a ‘thing’ now with hot hatch’s.
Blame Dizeee and his Astra VXR for starting this one. You will need a good memory though, it was a long time ago.

I wondered where Dizeee had gone, he didn't half post some bks, but he's still here, just under another name. Still posting bks though.

So who is Dizee now?

I really wish posters couldn't change their names, it's so confusing.

I thought it was a lad in a micra who stated he drive everywhere with the back seats folded down to improve handling.

Maybe 15 years back. Maybe from “Barry boys”.

But I’m sure about micra and rear seats:stability

Yes, it was a remark from another website. Cadence clutching, however, is homegrown biglaugh

IIRC they were trying to justify having a higher spec badge than what they have. They listed a few things they did, which were I think to always have it clean, only a tenners worth of Shell Optimax in it, tyres overinflated and folding the rear seats down to reduce weight. Despite a lot of people trying to explain physics he insisted this is what it did.

Did make me wonder whether to take the seats out of my car now I probably won't need them for a while to save a bit of fuel.

Taking the seats out would stop him taking his fat mates in the back that would double the weight of the micra!

It was first posted on the Corsa Owner's Club forum, but it was a VXR. The thread is long gone unfortunately, it was fantastic.
