I've heard about these ads. It's basically an advert for escort services. Mind you, £20 is a bargain.
Not for that.

I've put the boys suits on Vinted, 5 piece suits and in the description it says " 5 piece suit (trousers, jacket, waistcoat, shirt , tie).

First message, "does it come with trousers?"

People selling things that require measurements for prospective buyers, why don't they post them?

Missus asked me to get some baby gates for the house so I took a look at FBMP and found about 15 sets for sale in my local area. Only 5 have the measurements and all are no good to me. I'm loathe to message the rest in case I just get "Dunno what size" or a photo of it fitted to their doorway as a response.
I always post the measurements of anything I'm selling, makes it more enjoyable when I get the inevitable message of "will it fit in my car?"

They don't even mention what care they've got.

A few months ago I tried to offload an old pine wardrobe on our local free FB site. Despite putting all dimensions on the post and advising it would need a van or estate car, I still had the same as above.

After the third person messed me about I pulled the ad. I then donated the wardrobe (and another one we had - I couldn’t be arsed with the same again for that) to the British Heart Foundation.

They turned up a few days later (in a box van) and took them away. A few weeks later I got a nice letter saying thank you for the donation and they’d sold them for £145.

If that's the case, which one is the escort!

Bit worried about the ad for the wife's wardrobe now.

I put a diagnostic scanner up for sale .

The title read diagnostic scanner for Mercedes, Maybach, Smart car and Sprinter type vans .
Three people drove 30 odd miles to pick it up and the first question was, does this fit Range Rovers !
That's after one guy pestered to pick it up urgently then never turned up. Another wanted it for his 6 month old car and was disappointed when I said it wouldn't work and when I told him about the local MB specialist he said they were too expensive . On a 6 month old Merc !

I was selling something like a towbar or bike rack / something mundane

I love in Hampshire some guy was badgering me from Liverpool to meet him somewhere like Birmingham as it’s a long way for him and he would need money off

Really strange perception of how the world ticks

You could bet he would then start haggling some more
