I've had a bit of luck with FB marketplace recently. I was looking to sell on my two Saabs and managed to sell the first to a nice couple who happened to spot it as a potential daily car.

The V6 one has sold and hopefully the chap is collecting it tonight, super keen I just had to wait to transfer the plates and get new ones on. Encountered a few muppets but easily ignored.

That's the third car I've sold on there now, saves a few quid on Autotrader ads which is how I've done it in the past.

From experience it's probably a bullet dodged anyway as second hand fridge freezers are often broken and they just want someone to take it away. As there's no way of telling it's broken until you've got it home and had it on for a couple of hours, they know this and put a price in the ballpark of what a working one would go for. Of course, once you discover it's buggered, you've go no comeback and now you have the unenviable task of getting rid of it, and still need a replacement. People generally don't change their perfectly working fridge freezer for a different one, so you're left with just the handful of people who need rid because they're moving into a place that's already got one and the rest are selling knackered ones.
I must have been lucky twice.

Bought one just before covid and one during covid and both, touchwood, still going strong.
Looks like my firend has struck lucky, picked up a 2yr old ff on Sunday for £100, sellers had moved into a new house 2 days before and house came with integrated white goods so they needed gone smile

Maybe it was meant to read 'arm resting machine'

Give your arm a rest and let the machine take care of things
