There are just not enough amateur car reviewers on you tube.

18 year olds who can't afford a toy Mercedes driving around in an
18 reg S Class [ loaned to him by his mum's pal ] being amazed by the
road holding, the progressive braking and the torsionality of the bodyshell {?}

I hate Fish & Chips, and British Chips come to mention it.

As a previous poster mentioned them I too prefer Fries over chips.

I cannot think of a single item of food that I would prefer battered & fried rather than cooked on a grill or in a pan.

Mars bars?

Although my own unpopular opinion is a Deep Fried Mars bar ain't that great. Make it a Snickers, or even better, a Curly Wurly - now you're talking.

Best thing you can do to marshmallows is set fire to them and then leave them in the fire.

It's all art... the question is whether it's any good.

Thing about Star Wars - They got light speed travel, frickin laser guns & hover cars but no apparent means of transferring a relatively small data file from one place to another other than sticking it up a robot's fundament & sending it off on a perilous journey across the galaxy.

Fighting talk.

I love the Star Wars universe. I've watched the movies, read the books, played the games. I'm a seventies child who grew up with the hype all around me and enjoyed it.

People that claim to not like Star Wars always sound a bit try hard wink.

This will probably go quite badly but let’s give it a go.

I don’t get what the big deal about 9/11 is?

Totally understand that it was a horrific day in history that no doubt affected a lot of peoples lives. I’m sure it dramatically shook the people of New York and family of those people.

What I don’t get is the whole it changed the USA forever and changed every Americans life. Did it really affect your average guy living in say Arizona with no friends or family within 1000 miles of New York. It would have been a shock etc but change their life?

They went to war after but it’s not the first or last time they will pack off to invade somewhere.

It’s the weight that’s hung on it I don’t understand. I was also only 11 when it happened so maybe it didn’t hit me like it did adults at the time.

Americans are taught from from birth that the USA is the greatest country in the world, has the greatest military in the world, is the free-est country in the world, that it is plain superior to every other country on Earth in all respects. "9/11" showed this to be the bks it is. It came as a great shock to many Americans.
