I had a topless model once.

Were Airfix interested in forwarding the missing hardtop for my 1:32 scale Austin Healey 3000 MkIi? No. They suggested the box had been interfered with.

It was the Works hardtop and everything.

It seems it was the right decision not to work today. Our English neighbour phoned for help. He has leg pains and has a history of blood clots.
Appointment made at the docs and Madam Magoo gets him there sharpish. He speaks no French.
They are now preparing to go to hospital this afternoon to see a specialist.

Last time they found three clots on his lungs. I'm on neighbours dog sitting duties.

It is such a well proportioned car that I can hardly believe it was replaced by the Bolwell Ikara eek

Yes it's not the first time Bobberoo and it's not the only person(Brit) madam Magoo has helped/saved.
She is the go to Brit in our commune for all kinds of help. I've mentioned before that's she's a parish councilor and one of her duties is to help fellow Brits in our commune.
There are Thankyou cards on the mantle as I type this from grateful folks.

When ever Brexit happens that's her thrown out of the parish counci. Our Mayor is well pissed off about it and wrote to his regional top dog.
He has asked her to carry on her good work without election.

Yes, indeed. Good work there Magoo, top stuff old chap.

Me and Grandbomma have paid a visit to Halfords, she has 'road tested' a scooter around the store. Did what I can only describe as a handbrake turn around the end of the spray paint and touch up aisle, Hannu Mikkola would have been proud.

It's coming home with us, job jobbed. The only drawback is she particularly wanted something that "makes a noise like your bike, Pappy".

I can't help but think I've been responsible for creating a monster somewhere down the line.

Doner kebab and chips, chilli sauce. It was Grandbomma's idea, honestly.

Just to add a proper health kick for the day, we're having a Black Forest gateau too. Yum Yum.

Sorry Peri, I need to watch the pennies at the mo. I'll no doubt be indulging in a couple of Noms tomorrow.

I've been VERY careful with my posting to avoid the use of *O* , *U* and all their permutations, mainly because I received an eye watering invoice earlier in the year!!!
I still think that's what paid for his Italy trip!!!

Yes, I know old chap. We'll just have to be a bit more cautious.

Claire's popped round, she's bought a magazine for Grandbomma and a bag of frozen peas to wrap around my hand.

Not really essential now, it's much better than it was.

They'll come in handy tomorrow though. Think we'll have a nice bit of steak.
