Ha ha yes! The last time I saw him was in the Cricketers. My lad used to work there,so when I was back in the UK that's where I would be at times. He Allways did alright in that pub.
The lady in the large house just across and down from him used to look after him a bit I seem to recall.
They knocked that house down 2 years ago it’s now a des res culdesac!! And the house was in bloody good nick too!The lady in the large house just across and down from him used to look after him a bit I seem to recall.
Yes you could smell him before you saw him in the pub that’s for sure. I don’t think he was particularly welcome there.
What was in his pram if his anyway???

The main thing in his pram was his little dog! But also his shopping from Coop Stansted at times after he picked up his dosh from the PO.Yes you could smell him before you saw him in the pub that’s for sure. I don’t think he was particularly welcome there.

Was Bill the Blade the tubby guy in the wooly jumper thumbing his way along the road? Don't know the other one mind.

Ah the Ugley Chequers. Just driven past it. You must have been there when the tramp was still alive?
Yes! Dick was his name. I used to chat to him at times and I dropped old pallets etc at his hut when I could.Do you know his history?
Probably explains why he avoided going back there for the rest of his days...
He had a shabby unkempt appearance with a rather exuberant long black beard tinged with grey, but he was very well spoken and never caused any trouble.
I think he was the victim of a cruel woman who snubbed him and left him to endure a lifetime of unrequited love.
Morning chaps
Surprisingly chipper again, despite the fact I only had around 5hrs sleep last night, mind I did manage 1 1/2hrs yesterday afternoon so suppose it all helps!!
Machine remains relatively intact, which is both surprising and good news, and my "award" for bending over backwards to help the business has been converted into Amazon E-gift cards to the tune of £150, this "award" is not just for the continued support of "random operators thrown at the machine", it's also for stepping in and helping highlight and deal with a H&S issue, I may have bought watch number 11 with my "award" and then given the remaining funds to Mrs Bobbers who partook of a bit of a spending spree on Amazon last night!!!

Morning all. 5 hours sleep? Blimey, that'd last a week for me at the mo.
Never mind, the scooter's getting another run out today. We'll take it over to Irthlingborough park, there's a good stretch of path that she'll be able to have a good go upon.
Reminds me a bit of when I got my first car, 3.0 Granada it was. Probably not the ideal thing for 'starting out', good fun though.
What was yours?

That's a lovely old car to start with, excellent stuff old chap. One of my old girlfriends dad had one of those, smashing thing it was. Silver or grey, can't really remember now.
Had a wooden steering wheel and went like doings off a chrome plated shovel.

A cheese & tomato sandwich at 05:30 hrs is not wrong, just a bit bland:
My choice would be a nice kebab and pitta with plenty of chilli sauce or the rest of last night's curry. Nom!
Ooops!
