I've just put a curry in my slow cooker for tonight - 2lbs of beed shin and curry powder imported from Mauritius. It'll be amazing.

There's enough in there for about many, many portions. All are welcome biggrin
Mmmmmmmm lick, if I leave now I reckon I can be there by lunchtime, sink a few beers and be nicely mellowed by the time you get home!!!! yes

Genuine pointless movie trivia alert : as well as taking part in villainous schemes and stroking pussies, Charles Grey dubbed his voice in various films for Jack Hawkins after Hawkins contracted throat cancer.

ION, the wee Cooper S passed its MOT yesterday but is booked in again next week for some suspension tweaks, just in time for the Stanford Hall do next month.
Good news there P5B, I take it Stanford is a big Mini gathering?
I still can't look at that picture without thinking, "Come on, stroke my pussy!!" hehe

Yes Stanford Hall is the annual Mini do, it's only eight miles up the road, I think in the thirty years I've been going I've only missed two and one of those was when it was cancelled due to the weather. Always a good show with a nice atmosphere as it's such a nice venue to start with. My Mk2 S will be parked on the Cooper Register stand along with a mate's '69 Mk2 S. I must get a move on and get the other set of Cosmic alloys refurbished to go on the car, they've been sat in the garage for about two years! Funny thing about Mk2 Coopers, they're very rare compared to Mk 1s as they only built them for two years, but there are three where I live and two others that I know of living just a few miles away wink

I've had my siesta and I'm ready for walkies now,but it's about 32 outside at the moment so I may delay it for a couple of hours and then coincide the walk with a stop of at the beer shed in our local park.
The forcast for next week is generally about 32 each day so some early starts early finish is in order I think

I can smell that delicious curry from here James TW, it's purely coincidental that that's what's cooking in our kitchen too, ours however came from a jar!!!!

Where I had expected to be walking on rose petals, I find I am perambulating over parmesan shavings.

Unusual.

We're having a game of 'Battleships'.

I don't know much at all about anti-shipping stuff, but I have just taken out one of her aircraft carriers.

Big old lump it was, took up seven squares.
