yes we were and hedonistic times they were too. Of course back then we were all young uns - or younger - and i think Council Baby and i did 3/4 of one volume in about 2 weeks once
That was shortly before we got told to 'play nicely' by Garlick. Ahh those were the days, it was all post modern round here back then, none of this new fangled nostalgia thank you.

She's trying to steer us towards a PCP deal (or whatever it's called this week) on a homogenous blomange with multiple splendid cup holders and a forgettable name for £250 a month, to me that's like giving money away and well, 'giving in to old age'. For me the sensible thing to do would be to bag a ten year old Quattroporte with oodles of paperwork and take the odd bit of pain when bits fall off or the MOT needs doing, the mileage we do per year in our daily hack is about half the national average and at east the car would be mine. And it would sound nice!
