Tell Us Something Really Trivial About Your Life (Vol 32)
Discussion
I'm not dead.
I just got home from our TVRCC Christmas Quiz Evening.
Our team ( of four ) came second with a very creditable 23 points out of 50
The Quizmaster was quite severe and brooked no arguments from the floor.
Given the difficulty factor of the questions, I think we did rather well.
But not quite well enough.
The victorious team scored 24 points and each team member won a bottle of wine.
Never mind, the mint spies were rather tasty and a bit lighter than a big wodge of Lardy Cake.
I think now that I have finished driving for the day, I shall treat myself to a wee dram afore I gang tae sleep.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Have you all been booted off?!?!
Some of us work for a living, I on the other hand work but it’s not a living more of an existence. No hang on I meant I live but work for the pleasure.Have you all been booted off?!?!
Nope. Got that completely wrong, is it tea time yet?
Nah, I don't do that.
I haven't got the time to spare for that kind of nonsense, see?
Far too busy!
Mind you, I do envy some of you guys with your "days off"...
Oh well, off to bed now, early start tomorrow.

The trip to Frankfurt was on the company
The company soiree is usually pretty good, up until a couple of years ago when people took the piss at the 'free' bar, it was partners included in one of the poshest hotels in St Albans but now it is just work people. Again, on the company.
He's pretty good with allowing flexibility around working hours for appointments etc and i guess these all add up to why people are loyal to the company - well those who have their heads screwed on properly, those that don't soon fut off elsewhere.

Ah the good old one hit wonder!!!!
I sliced the end of my thumb off last week, it was healing well right up until I bashed it not once, but twice yesterday, which caused it to haemorrhage under the reattached piece of skin, when I had a good look at it yesterday evening there was a dark ring around the piece of skin and it was rather tender to touch, so I prepared a boiling hot bowl of TCP laden water and soaked it, then lanced the edge of the bulbous bit and soaked it some more, it was ok last night but has started to throb somewhat today, further investigation when I get home I think!!! If all else fails I have plenty of shiny, slashy, stabby things to facilitate it's removal!!!
