…...Apparently Britain's answer to "Big Little Lies".

What does everyone think?

For me it was a bit odd, there were some real surreal "that's bks" moments, too many of them in fact, it was totally unrealistic for no apparent reason.

I wont spoil it, but it is on ITV hub in full and having binged it last night, I did not bother actually watching the ending, just had it on in background. Bit too contrived, bit too odd, something you want to like but all ends up being a bit obvious and almost comes across as trying to hard to shock or more likely, production being a bit lazy with it.

Any other opinions or comments?

Some nice scenery!

Presumably Anna Friel plays her usual role, ie someone who has a chaotic home life and has great difficulty keeping her clothes on.

It's an ersatz copy, minus the excellent soundtrack, excellent acting and award winning (8 Emmys) script. Some things the Americans do far, far better than us, and this kind of drama is one of them. Anna Friel as a peadophile-in-denial's dream is a bit of a bag now, anyway. Natch.

I've watched all six episodes on the ITV Hub, despite hating the first one for its preposterous plot.

It does get a bit better, but some of the characters are (intentionally) very annoying.

Anna Friel kept my attention because she plays her usual chaotic MILF that you'd like a one-nighter with but would probably be a total nightmare in real life.

It was a lot like Marcella, but on holiday in the Lakes.

I know someone who allegedly shagged her years ago. He was a young Concorde co pilot at the time. They met on a flight and he gave her some of his afterburner in New York.

When they flew home the copilot took off and as they were climbing out doing a turn with the amazing view of New York passing by, the wise old Captain looked over at his young cockpit Casanova copilot and said with a grin “fly Concorde, fk Anna Friel”

True story bro.
