I'm 5'11 so not exactly short but any bird over about 5'8 with heels on is starting to look like a giantess weirdo imo.

I'm 6'2 and I agree, my limit is 5'7 though. I'm getting bored of tinder, what's the general perception of hinge?

ste, it's too hard work. I feel a simple like is a cop out, but a msg each time is too time consuming, so the speed you rattle through is MUCH slower. Plus I don't think it's as popular as the other two. And it's full of hipster wks.

Apart from that go for it. You know you're going to anyway. hehe

Depends on where you live, by the sounds of it Scotlands fuller of munters with the 'fitties' on bumble/tinder

London + Home Counties, id say Hinge has the fitties who reply, Bumble is 50/50, Tinder = council girls.

The only time Tinder isnt council is when you get the newly arrived East European ladies and tourists, who know no better. Id probably say Tinder is the most used dating app around the world and comes in handy when travelling solo

It’s a misconception with Hinge you have to msg every time, you can - but you can also just ‘like’ an image and then if they like you it can go from there. I haven’t found a different success rate just liking vs msg’ing at the outset.

Scotland's full of greggnant peely wally gingers who think a filter transforms them into Heidi Klum.

The problem is so many guys are thirsty af, they hit the tubbies up and so they think they're something special. When they're really just fat bikes.

Its the same on all the apps, though a friend gave me some wise words - skip down to the last photo as that one is what they normally look like, its their natural look.

For those that dont know, you can use Bumble and Tinder on the pc, which is something that Hinge needs to do

Aye but the 'smart' ones think by only having a face pic they can hide the fact they're a big unit. Note to flubbers: it's not working, I can tell hehe

if the shot is taken from high above with them looking into the camera but no shoulder or body shot - blimp

If the shot has their hair combed back in a Mancunian style, its a council facelift.

If the shot is clearly taken about 20 years ago, its a catfish.

Sorry have to disagree about the height thing.
I'm 5' 10" so not tall at all but I will generally match and chat with same height or even taller.
I find the taller they are the more educated and less chavy they are and that doesn't include the the Europeans who seem on average to be taller.

Am I the only one who will bin a "match" off when the girl asks me a question about something that's blatantly apparent on my profile. Interests, work, etc

It's NEVER a good question that shows some input like "Oh I see you do X - Where do you do that?" It's ALWAYS "So what do you do outside of work?"

I just think the girl is a moron, or worse can't hold a conversation (why are the so called "social sex" so crap at interactions?) and delete them biggrin

Most women are dim at this side of life, they dont tend to do the chasing so not really interested in you enough.

You need a USP like a photo of a super soaker, that would be a great opener

laugh ^^

Tinder is still going OK for me, had a fair few dates with having signed up just over a month ago, I'm not using it at the moment, I haven't been on it in over a week

I'm seeing one of the women fairly regularly, a couple of times a week. I ended up at hers after a party last night, she's moving back to Glasgow between Christmas and New Year so it's basically a fill yer boots scenario that'll end when she leaves, everyone wins

However, one lass is..... troubled, to say the least, problems across the board, not over her ex who called the coppers to get her out of the house, out of work and broke and a proper woe is me type; needs to see a doctor I think.

She volunteered a lot of this information in fairly short order but I met her for a few drinks anyway and she's actually pretty fit (she's 25, I'm 31 fwiw) we're still talking but I get the impression that getting involved any further would likely be a mistake and opening myself up for a world of pain, but I'll probably end up doing it anyway hehe

If I stop posting I've likely been kidknapped or murdered by her laugh
