Well after my earlier hubris came nemesis and I received the hard word after last night’s date. Apparently the sex was great but she didn’t feel an emotional or intellectual connection with me, so a bit of a mixed bag in the post-match analysis.

Another fine date indeed.
She came over my way, I’ve mentioned before my area is quite rural with the countryside out my front door.
Had a walk out chatted and messed around as you do
Dropped into a pub and had some food and a drink.
Eventually wandered back to mine.
Drink, chat, more fun and ended up in the bedroom for the rest of the evening which was very enjoyable indeed !
I’ve got a couple of days at work now and have 4 days off over the weekend.
Planned to meet Thursday afternoon/evening, where yet I don’t know. Make some plans for the weekend too.
It’s all good so far.
It’s going to be fun, I know that much.

There may have been one or two, but I didn't think anything would ever happen between us tbh. Both previously talked about how we didn't want a relationship etc. Now she's asking about the girls on my social media, badgering me for explicit pictures and keeps sending me ones of her, asking why I'm taking long to respond to her messages (I'm on nights so sleeping in) and also saying next time I don't have to use protection because she'll go on the pill. Only joking haha, she wishes! Ended up ghosting her after this encounter as she was very weird, bumped into her in town about 8 weeks ago and she was telling me mate she'd fallen for me, was asking me to stand with her and talk to her in a club, I was like no leave me alone and that was that. Happy to update looking at her social media it looks like she's met someone as she's now constantly posting flowers and how in love she is after a couple of weeks, lucky escape for me!
Totally unlike me as well but I went on a good run where I slept with 3 females in a few short weeks, never knew I had it in me tbh.
As for myself, weirdly, the same night I bumped into the above lady, I ended up getting to know some lady out and about who knew my younger brother, ended up pulling her but we didn't sleep together. That never went anywhere, but I also met her friend she was with on the same night and she started to speak to me on social media, we went on a date and have been seeing each other ever since. She'd been single for a while, her last relationship was with another female (said she was previously bi but is back straight now). We're complete opposites but seem to get on well, just taking it slow at the minute, I don't really want a serious relationship and I am enjoying my life and doing what I want when I want. I've got my own place (completed in July) and it's fantastic.
I can't believe it's been 18 months since I split up with my ex of 5 years, it feels like a couple of months it's flown by and I feel in a much better place now than I have done for a long time.
No doubt I'll be back in here in 3 months once the new flame has torched my car and come out as a psycho, but hey ho, I might get a threesome out of it

Mental really, 12 months ago I couldn't imagine being with anyone else, and lads told me there's plenty out there. Now I couldn't imagine going back.

Over the last 3 days, a message I had sent out has returned back to me, but no actual words from the recipient are attached, this has happened with 3 different girls.
It's as if they have replied but without any words? I can message them once again, so have not been blocked or deleted etc.
I re messaged the first two but nothing back after that, bit of a weird one, anyone else had similar on that app?

There are no not really any truly free sites after they were all pretty much snapped up by the same few well funded ones, a few years ago, they gradually introduced more and more monetary incentives and have now typically reduced more and more the free aspects to try and force you to pay.
Simply means I delete them and never go back
Plus mobile apps like Tinder have heavily influenced how people use them, and after initially being able to use that for free, that app is now pretty much exclusively pay to use,.
it is an addiction for some, was so for me, and it is hard to wean yourself off it, but them hiding profit behind "increased costs" is garbage, it is just a pure crash grab preying on peoples desire for attention. Once setup apps do not cost anywhere near as much, unless you splurge on advertising, yes ad revenue brings in some money, but pof never really had much of that, hence it met sits downfall, and Match always wanted you elsewhere as it was free.
Shame as there used to be loads of free sites, not any moe.
