Not seeing each other as much as we’d like at the moment. Her son has exams and she’s a bit worried about that, so I’ve said we can step back for a while and you can concentrate on making sure that’s all ok. When it’s over we can see each other more and overnight stays etc.

Seems perfect at this stage IMO. I’d be far more worried about someone prepared to ignore their sons during exams for some extra nooky vs this way round. And also enjoy the space you have and see friends. Similar sense of humour so plenty of laughs.

I should have listened to you all. I got told he needed space and time. Eventually he sent a voice note to tell me it was over. Told me he wanted to stay friends but finally this morning he put my keys through the door and blocked me everywhere. Never spoke to me face to face about any of it.Time to move on before you’re too invested and just end up walking away hurt.

Very true - but I always feel that places like FoS tend to be more ‘like minded people’ - just like art galleries, aero clubs etc vs ‘she likes semi skimmed milk too’ Possible bf's / gf's are right there on your door step.

I seem to have the knack of dating girls not over their exes at the moment, get to date 3 by which time I have been the free counsellor, hearing all about the bad boys and narcissists they have typically dated, and how much they want to find a decent guy this time, They then slot into the conversation how "nice" I am which we all know is the death knell, and they then vanish into thin air, as they realise they cannot drag it on past date 3 before it starts to get real.

I do tend to cast my line in the Cape horn section of the hot crazy matrix though!, so it's to be expected that the Great white sharks will steal most of the catches as you carefully reel them in, however the guppies to be found in the shallow, calmer waters are not really my thing.
