Assuming you're not still of clubbing age, what do you do normally?

Either me or the missus sort dinner, usually start on the cooking beer at the same time. Eat with the kids, red wine opened for dinner. Depending on the time the kids might watch a movie or something else on TV, then it bath/shower and bed time for them.

Once they've gone off we'll usually watch whatever series we're working through on the TV whilst trying not to fall asleep, the missus is worse for this but I sometimes fail as well. I might have another beer or two. Eventually decide we can stay awake no longer and go to bed. Having kids is knackering wink

Sat night is usually film night, either proper session two films, drinks, snacks in basement cinema, or if we're too lazy to do that film in lounge with chinese (food, not people).

Recently we have been going out a bit more, last minute decisions to hunt for local bands playing.

Early (mid) 40s. Rare I go clubbing now, hangover wastes weekend!

The bigger issue is that it's full of people who could be your kids. If you want to feel old.....

Myself and the Mrs are both 30 :-D

But have a 3 year old boy :-s

So Saturday nights are mostly 'in' these days, have a few drinks, nice meal and watch a film.

We're still barely clinging onto our social lives so occassionally we palm the little one off to the Grandparents overnight, head out, get too excited, wake up the next day feeling like death...

Meal out, maybe drinks and a pub band. Not usually out late.

Thinking of the new Tarantino movie at the everyman cinema this weekend. Not sure what sort of crowd they get in at weekends though, may put it on hold till next week.

I went to my friends' parents 50th wedding anniversary party last Saturday night, in a sleepy Northamptonshire village.

I drove, and left my car on their drive, having been promised some floor space once the party was over. Unfortunately, the floor space was not forthcoming, so I text a previous tinder date in the next village requesting collection and a bed for the night.

I even got a bacon sandwich and a lift back to my car the next morning. I'm 45.

Dinner, films, machining things in the workshop, computer games. I'm entirely uninterested in evenings out apart from the occasional cinema trip. Probably because I'm mostly uninterested in other human beings.

Evening meal varies depending on what has happened during the day then usually BBC 4 foreign language drama, unless we have one or more of the grandchildren staying. Eldest is 21 and youngest is 11 so entertaining them is varied.

I would say its usually an "in" night for the wife and I but I've just thought about how I don't have many typical Saturdays between now and the end of October

Been to 2 weddings this month so far, so drinking to the early hours

this Saturday I'll be on holiday down in Devon, the following Saturday I'm out with friends for a birthday celebration. Week after that I'm off seeing friends, the week after that, different friends. Then another wedding to attend as well at some point in September, as well as another holiday in Majorca

Films or Xbox, or occasionally round the inlaws for a drink. I'm 32.
