I saw them last year in Manchester, brilliant, one of the best gigs I've ever been to - not just the music, but the atmosphere in the crowd.

So far I've got Sam Fender - Glasgow Barrowlands. Its a great venue and I'm enjoying his new album.

Aye that was a great show, yes I did that and Aberdeen (I live up here but I'm from Huddersfield).

Always great live, always.

Have you been to Metaldays before? How was it if so? I'd love to give it a whirl some time, I read on their Facebook page that the site location (which looks stunning) might be changing however frown

I haven't done it before, but we try get in at least 1 eurofest each year and meet friends who do several. They do metal days every year and say its fantastic, the location is outstanding Andy it still has the smaller friendly vibe that some other festivals have lost as they get bigger.

The future is very uncertain for metaldays as they are building a motorway over the site after this year's festival and it's on my mus do list. Just hope They get à strong lineup

Cheers for the response! Aye that was what I read, a real shame!

I try to get a euro fest in too, I've done Hellfest for 2017, 2018 and 2019 and I'm going to Wacken next year for the first time, I'm tempted to do Graspop too but all of these grand plans soon eat up the old holiday allowance, sadly!

I think we have the same problem! I love Hellfest but metaldays would be instead of hellfest, but hellfest might put out a spectacular line up for it's 15th anniversary. I've heard metaldays has the atmosphere that Hellfest had a good few years ago, before it became the behemoth it is now.

Is this your first time at Wacken, I've not done it but really feel I should, was watching the Dimmu live show from a few years ago at Wacken and now I just want a festival.

Do you ever to Hammerfest, Tryptikon at it next year looks good, but great yarmouth isn't easy to get to from Scotland.
