Box is heavy.

There's a note. The sender has hidden their handwriting so they can't be traced scratchchin

There are some items, and a mysterious box!!!

Ok... first lock is easy with these implements.

No-one help me with this... but this next lock has a different mechanism... it's more difficult and I suspect it needs a different approach.

First to ID the lock!!!

Still waiting on the last of my victims "gifts" to arrive I guess the best niche products do take a while to be made...

Whens the last post?

Still plenty of time to get stuff into the post for the big day. Some key postal dates below.

Royal Mail’s latest recommended posting dates for delivery in the UK in 2019 are:

Wednesday, December 18 for second class mail
Friday, December 20 for first class mail
Monday, December 23 for special delivery

You are allowed to open the huuuge Box, and put the separately packed gift items under your Christmas tree.

Great to see the present has arrived. You did say you liked difficult to open presents and you'd never picked a lock.

Santa did consider taking the dremmel to the screws but he trusts you not to cheat. hehe

Santa also had a little go at lock picking before posting just to try it out. As you said the naked one is easy!

Just one word of warning, the contents of the box is not gift wrapped at all, so if you do crack it all open before the big day then it's up to you if you lift the lid before Santa has emptied his sack. Not sure if you like surprises

Ah no, I'll leave the code until closer to the time, but will work on the tricky lock this weekend!

Think will read the whole book first too, incase there is a paragraph about the protagonist creating a coded messages or something else that might provide a clue to how to break the code.

My resident old people have acknowledged the receipt of a PHSS package and are preparing it for the next stage of its journey as complications have arisen which mean I won’t be there for Christmas. However both the package and I will be in the same place for Christmas so opening will happen at the appointed time.

Have you opened the outer box yet?

There' a card inside you might like to display and the presents are separately wrapped.

Mr Tom

Your present will arrive in two packages. One is coming from a strange foreign land (Coventry) and the other from a mysterious world of oddly flavoured goodies.

The box of oddly flavoured goodies may be opened on receipt and enjoyed.

Yes, should be perfectly safe. Even the Reindeer read it so should be fine for Lucy and even Wilbur if he is a dog that can read. biggrin

There might even be some clues as to what's in the wrapping paper (all family friendly).

Due tomorrow, it is apparently gift wrapped however I would hold off opening the box as the shape may give things away!
