I wouldn't waste too much time it's not very accurate - it's snowing in Macclesfield and not a dickybird on the map.
Hen tweet them to let them know. Site works on social media reports....

It looks as though the River Severn may breach one of the flood barriers in Bewdley tonight.

River Aire in Yorkshire, burst banks, swept cars off road. Snaith being evacuated.

Ironbridge expected to overtop tonight.

Beales corner barrier in Bewdley to be possibly outflanked or even overtopped this evening. Too close to call.

Worcester residents in Hylton Road and Diglis being advised now by police to start preparations to save as much property as possible and make alternative accommodation arrangements.

That'll be us then. We live just opposite Severnside Mill. On the other end of the barriers from Beales Corner.....

All a bit tense, although Westbourne Street etc have remained open and were closed last week when the levels were lower..

Apologies in advance for the rant and the bad language. But what the feck do people use to keep their ttting ears apart, because it certainly isn't brains.
A large part of the population do things by routine and are not capable of diverting from it.
"It's Tuesday, I always park here."

^This.

There's a woman at work who was clucking about how to get home because of a bridge closure. Now I used to get one of my cars serviced but a stones throw from where she lived, and I never used to use the route she used anyway, but the point is, I knew at least two alternate routes and don't even fking live there. Some people literally exist in a rabbit run.
Locals on "This is Bewdley" FB page have started saying pray for Bewdley.

The hysteria is near fever pitch.

wavey Good luck there, if you are where I think you are on Stourport road should be OK. Went to the bottom field ghis morning and in nearly 19 years never seen so much water on it. Even in 2007 the grass was still poking up through the water. Now it's just one giant duck pond with some trees sticking out. Dark when I got back to S-o-S so no idea what it's like now. Might have a walk down with a giant torch.

BBC weather claiming heavy snow showers in bound to MK tonight. Believe it when I see it. Ride home from station had some cold light rain though.

Snow showers tonight in the north. Could be an interesting journey across the pennies, assuming my flight in remains unaffected.

If I nip down to Fort Victoria and stand on the roof I'll be able to see it!

Not a single flake on Isle of Wight.

Interesting Tweet regarding the river levels in Shrewsbury:

Simon Pearson on Twitter said:
BBC lies as usual:
Shrewsbury flooding: 'Highest ever' peak could be recorded”
For the record:
1795: level 5.70m at Welsh Bridge (climate crisis!)
1946: level 5.43m
2000: level 5.25m
