V neck jumpers that have a shirt collar sewn into it to make it look like you're wearing a proper shirt with a jumper over the top.
Always liked that look, but had no idea such a thing existed, and hated wearing a shirt and a jumper, just too hot. About 5 years ago, age 52, the wife suggested I buy one with the faux collar. I thought the woman had gone bonkers. Was going to put it in Classic from the Mrs on here. So she took me to BHS and showed me it was a real thing.
Mind blown! Who knew?? Got about 20 of the things now!
Wasted 30 years wishing I could wear a shirt and jumper comfortably.
This made me genuinely laugh out loud. Always liked that look, but had no idea such a thing existed, and hated wearing a shirt and a jumper, just too hot. Something so delightfully British about being able to find such genuine joy at going to BHS to get yourself a jumper with a fake collar.
Love it

I like red wine, but as of about 4 years ago, it stopped liking me! I seem to have developed an allergy to it, and am ill if I have it.

Kids don’t like tea or coffee. They’re for an adult palate. You might like them if you had them now.
I'll not be finding out, I don't see the attraction. And having weaned myself off caffeine (Coke) and nicotine over the last few years I'm not looking for a new addiction. What I'd rather do is learn to eat vegetables. Beetroot and (unchewed) baked beans is all I can do. Unless we're counting chilli and garlic. I can eat most fruit, but veg, and especially green veg is a major no no.

Didn't bother much with spelling either.
Rather co-incidentally I am sitting here eating some type of black grapes. They taste of Ribena a bit. And water. They're ok actually. My mum nearly had a had a fit, it was has been 49 years to get me to this point after all....
Apparently they are called Vitoria Grapes

(BTW, did you get some elasticated waist trousers and velcro fastening shoes, too? )

Mine was chicken on the bone, only used to eat chicken breast, can’t get enough of chicken thighs now
I still hate chicken on the bone.As a recent 'convert' can you explain the appeal to me?
As far as I can see, it's the same animal meat - just slimier, far less of it and takes much more effort to eat. I don't get it

Breast meat is dry and lacks flavour in comparison. As a recent 'convert' can you explain the appeal to me?

1. Turkey meat.
You know the dry, tasteless stuff you reluctantly eat once a year after you lubricate it with cranberry sauce to allow passage down your gob?
Sisters boyfriend is a head chef and cooked one last year. It was juicy, full of flavour and I couldn’t get enough. Best bird meat I’ve ever tasted apart from;
2. Chicken hearts. I had some at a South American bbq place in Liverpool last month. I actually misheard the waiter and just saw some lovely looking chicken on a skewer. My only issue is the texture which is closer to a mushroom (which I can’t stand) than any sort of meat but the flavour was phenomenal.

A number of things I have tried once or twice but still dislike - tea, coffee (can't stand the taste or smell of either), video games or VR (much prefer reality), blue cheese (just the smell makes me gag - I guess I don't like foods that can fight back).
Hadn't eaten yoghurt until I was in my mid thirties - have now had it with breakfast pretty much every day for the past 30 years.

Cranberry sauce. I'm 45 years old and have never had or even fancied trying the stuff. I got a traditional meal in Slovakia last week which consisted of stewed veal and dumplings and it came with a dollop of cranberry sauce in the middle. It was OK, not something I enjoyed or hated and I probably won't have again but my other half was amazed I'd never had it before. She loves it on her Christmas dinner.
Not me but my girlfriend...
Until a few months ago she'd never had a parmesan wafer (you know, basically a slice of parmesan grilled until it's all bubbly then left to cool and crisp up).
I made a few to go with a risotto that I'd knocked up for tea one night and she thought I was some sort of culinary god. So I now have a go-to thing when she's got the hump with me!
