Treadmill Upstairs
Discussion
I want to put my treadmill in a spare room upstairs.
The spare room has only just been decorated, but no flooring done yet.
It's a chipboard floor over original beams.
The concern is obviously going to be from noise.
Can anyone recommend the best finish for the floor to keep the noise to a minimum?
Thanks
Andy

Lol, very good.
I did delete a line in my original post about my 16 stone fat ass bouncing the floor.

Would something like this work?

I wouldn't worry about it. You'll only use it twice for its intended purpose and then it will become another place to hang laundry on to dry.The spare room has only just been decorated, but no flooring done yet.

I wouldn’t want mine upstairs.
a) They’re pretty heavy and awkward to move.
b] the vibration from a base pedal on an electric drum kit my son had a couple of years back was bad enough, let alone 160-180 steps per minute on a running machine.
c) mines in the garage, with a 16” fan wall mounted to keep me cool, you’ll roast in the house
