Can you get extra wide composite front doors?
Discussion
Need this front door replacing cos it’s completely fked. I really want a composite one so it can have multi lock as the house is 2 flats and this is shared into communal hallway. And it’s on a noisy busy road so the sound proofing would help. But, I don’t want regular size composite door made to fit with st infil panels.
Anyone know if you can get wide ones? Also, (I don’t want much) that don’t cost silly money. Another question do they come with a frame ie is the existing wooden frame removed?
The width is 105cm x height 208cm. I think composite doors only really go to 1m wide. And what would happen with the glass window above?

Would this fit? 1003 door + 50mm extensions each side?

Ye the actual door slabs most of these companies use would only be about 900 wide so would need significant bulking out either side of the frame which to be honest would look dogst. There may be custom sized solutions available but I would imagine they wouldn't be cheap.
Only other solution would be to have a split door perhaps?
Your wooden frame would be removed and typically a upvc frame (including the arched toplight) installed.

90% of composite doors are made from Chinese blanks, they are all very similar and won’t go up to those dimensions. A few companies manufacture their own panels, Rockdoor for example, I still think you will struggle with that size for a door only though.
I haven’t used this company but some similar examples shown.

Thanks I’ve emailed them to see. If not I suppose it’s a wooden one will have to be made but I’m not as keen on that.I haven’t used this company but some similar examples shown.

Origin do them up to 1130mm, we are very happy with ours.

Because as I stated in my OP
You could easily get a wooden one made, they can have multi-lock euro cylinders as well - composite or UPVC aren't the only options. I can't for the life of me remember where I got my door, but they had massive wide options as well - and mine was about £400 for a standard hardwood front door, I think the wide ones were about £600.
You won’t get a bespoke hardwood door and arched frame with multi point locking for anywhere near £600, it will probably be more expensive than composite tbh. If you want something cheap and strong get a 8x4 fire door blank cut to size, add some panels made out of timber moulding and stick a euro profile mortise sash lock on it, less than £200 for materials plus fitting, that’s using the original frame though.
These weren't bespoke, they were in an online door store to be bought "off the shelf" - I presume whoever fits thee door also fits the locking system. I know an elderly lady (in a care home now) who got one from the same place, it was extra wide because her husband was in a wheelchair and spectacularly bad at manoeuvring it.
It looks great, not even painted - just varnished by the husband who was a complete perfectionist.
But I still can't remember where it was from - will see how far back my bank statements go, it was the 19th of something, and it wasn't winter, so that might be a start!
