Best £250 Smart phone?

Hi guys,

As per title, I am after a new phone for the £200-£250 mark.

Main desires are the best camera for the money, with USB C, battery life and Micro SD slots all being desirable in that order.

Current favorite is the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, but it doesn't have a Micro SD slot and the 128gb is a big price jump over the 64gb.

Any other recommendations, or phones worth considering?

I'm a big fan of the moto G series, currently running a G6+ which is easily in budget.

You could probably pick up a Huawei Mate 20 pro / P30 Pro from CEX for around that much.

Mid - Realme x2 Pro - £250
High - Pixel 3a - £400
Flag - Oneplus 7t pro - £600

Price depends on spec, you can add more ram and storage, pushing the price up.

Nokia 7.2. Good camera, good battery, USB-C, and it's dual sim with a micro SD slot which allows two sim cards plus the micro SD card all at the same time.
