Any Chromebook/Chrome OS users here....
Discussion
Just wondering how people actually get on with this lightweight OS? Any pitfalls you have discovered that weren't apparent when purchasing?
I've used the free Cloudready variant of Chrome OS, but not as a main machine. It also doesn't get access to the Android App store.
Would you still stick with Chrome OS if given the choice?

We've 4 of them in the house.
Aging Asus C201 which my wife used exclusively for work and personal use. Now retired.
Asus Flip C100, which I still use for browsing and simple personal stuff every day of the week.
Samsung Chromebook Plus (2018). The wife's machine, again for work and personal use. She's in education.
Pixelbook - my main machine for anything serious.
I've had quite a few of them, but those above were keepers. Also trialled lots of different models through work. Deployed over 400 to users in a previous job.
Simple starting point is to draw up a list of everything you do on a machine. And then see if ChromeOS can support it.
There's still lots of misinformation online and from people who should know better in real life.
The big thing for me personally is that the OS never gets in my way, never needs attention, and never throws up any errors or causes delays. It just works. I turn it on, do my work or personal stuff, and turn it off again.
