no, especially when middle aged women do it. A milf should have an element of class and equally slut, not hanging on to her earlier years desperate to keep the sagging chin level! Its like these filters that make their skin look like they're 10 years old with stars and butterflies floating around their face.
I embrace my middle aged spread!
So basically you’re saying you’ve given up but older women should be classy and slutty but definitely no surgery or filters? I embrace my middle aged spread!

No, it looks absurd. Then again I find any cosmetic 'enhancements' deeply unattractive, fillers, implants, tattoos, fake tan, fake eyelashes, fake anything really.
Make upClothes
Washing
Cutting your hair
Bit of perfume
Shaving yer armpits.
All fake. Horrible things. Shouldn’t be allowed.

I think the main thing is that it's become a VERY cheap procedure in the past year or so.
Which has made it accessible to a lot of women who wouldn't have previously been able to afford £1k+.
Has it ever been £1k+?Which has made it accessible to a lot of women who wouldn't have previously been able to afford £1k+.
I thought you are talking £300-£400 tops for the last 10 years?

There’s obviously a range of behaviour that people find acceptable or desirable or are comfortable with themselves.Clothes

Cutting your hair

Most people don’t find washing odd but more people possibly are less comfortable with the act of enhancing your lips to the point that you look like a fish.
I agree but I was specifically referencing the guy ( I assume it’s a guy) who objects to fake anything.
Shaving your legs and ladyparts is fake, so is lipstick and dying your hair.
I’m a very open minded person, a lot of people on PH aren’t.
If someone wants to and has something done good for them. People often do it for themselves, not others.
And as for the price, no it’s never been £1000 for your lips and interestingly the number getting it done isn’t any higher than previous years.
The market for cosmetic surgery has actually gone down dramatically in recent years contrary to what people think.

Thankyou's list? All either innocuous daily tasks pretty much a prerequisite for rubbing along pleasantly in wider society, or instantly undone if you get them wrong.
I can't bear it. Last year at my son's uni graduation ceremony there were so many girls floating around the reception afterwards who would have looked 100% more attractive had they been in their "natural" state. In fact, it was like being in an episode of 'Hotter Than My Daughter' because so many of their mothers were classy, and well dressed, with subtle make up, etc. It's sad seeing pretty girls doing this to themselves. But I suppose there is pressure from many sources these days, the porn industry, reality TV, magazines, Instagram, etc. Even the "lads mags" beloved of my generation portrayed and unrealistic image of female beauty.
FWIW my wife is 52. Other than a bit of lippy when she gets dressed up, and painting her nails occasionally, she doesn't own any make-up. She moisturises regularly, and her biggest nod to vanity is colouring her hair once every couple of months to cover grey, and getting her hair cut by a decent stylist. In our little "block" of four houses, the neighbours are between 55 and 63 years old. They all look great, and none of them (appears) to have had any stupid lip fillers, boob jobs, or tattooed eyebrows. there is no earthly need for these things to exist outside of reconstructive processes for women suffering through illness or injury. The wider commercial cosmetic surgery industry (imho) just exists to prey on the insecurities of young women who often haven't yet fully developed their sense of "self".
