How about adding together all the prime numbers from 2 to 17 inclusive?

2+3+5+7+11+13+17 = bus pass and tea dances

Certainly not, the bugger's clearly about 27 minutes slow.

Seriously? If you like it old boy, do it.

No.

You've signed up for a TT 10th Anniversary mug.

Squandering your money on watches indeed. Whatever next?

Sunny in North East Surrey today.

With a territorial swagger I was going to say I hail from North East Surrey. It turns out Croydon stopped being in Surrey in 1965. This means I was born in Surrey but my birthplace isn't in Surrey.

Born in Croydon; something I share with Roy Hudd and Kate Moss.

Desmond Dekker died there. Thornton Heath, atcherlly.

The Trivialites, ah ha.

Wake up in the morning

That works out to a remarkably similar age as me, but I don't have a bus pass. Should I apply for one? Are they compulsory? Never really thought about it until now.

When I did that spell of Trade Plate driving a Senior Rail Pass was a godsend.

Are the mugs made in China like my Rolexes?
Yes, all the best Rolexes and mugs come from China, everyone knows that.

And yes, if there is one thing I have in life, it’s many buckets.

Buckets are my friends.

We have long talks about many important subjects.

The orange ones are cleverer.

The black ones are a better laugh.

All buckets are grey to me, I have no truck with bucket racists.

Free the bucket.

If it’s not too late, can I sign up for a mug as well please, Mr C?

Also, some The Idiot. Doing a very good down/stay, but slightly spoiling the finish by launching himself at my head... bell end.

https://youtu.be/wMhWPejLM0c

Also, I sound like a choirboy. My voice is actually slightly more manly than that. A bit.

ION, I’ve often thought of a random “Meet some PHers” road trip. I’ve still got tons of leave to use up and it’d be good to completely waste spend some travelling around and drinking with various internet strangers.

My Scandinavian bike trips have always had a “reason”, even if that was only stupid stuff like visiting the Kopparberg cider brewery (except when I got there, they didn’t do tours...). Ho hum. Never mind.

A friend and I once rode our motorbikes from his place in Lancaster to Melton Mowbray to get a pork pie. Each. We’re not completely stupid. I’ve ridden to Whitby for fish and chips a couple of times from over here on the west coast. So obviously a “Meet some PHers” would make an excellent trip. I’d even be tempted to start a thread about it, seeing if anyone not resident in the TT thread was up for a visit.

Just popped in to say what a splendid job Johnboy Walton did when he directed the film "Rush" that just finished on BBC 1. bow

Nite nite Trivialites. wavey

Time for bed now.

sleep ZZZZZZzzzzzzzz
Point of (trivial) order Glenners : It was Richy Cunningham from 'Happy Days' who directed 'Rush', not Johnboy Walton wink

Just done an hour of weeding and general tidy uppery of the front drive / borders, I'm now dripping with sweat and have a pounding headache. Pesky chores, why can't they do themselves...?

ION, I once drove down to John Cooper's garage in Worthing just to buy a keyring, a couple of Mini badges and some fish & chips. Bloody long trip there and back in a Mini 1000.... driving

Bobbers, buy the watch. It’s not my personal cup of tea, but (a) if you like it, get it and (b) Bulova are vastly underrated and very good value. I have a couple. Stand by, I shall rummage in the “watch drawer”, dig them out, take some quick snaps and post them up.

Wait one.

Also, pubs, you say? I’m in.

This isn’t all of them...

Compressor reissue (sorry it’s out of focus, I CBA taking it out again). It’s second hand but basically as new. The bracelet hasn’t even been unwrapped or sized.

And a “vintage” Accutron, which compared to most stuff nowadays is tiny!

I don’t have one, but the Bulova lunar watches always get recommended. I think Greendubber from the under £200 thread has one. They have actually been used as space watches, I seem to remember. They can be found sometimes for much less than RRRP as well.

Cheers. I’ve also got a Dan Henry 1970 in the orange, like this one:

https://danhenrywatches.com/collections/vintage-wa...

I really want a Farer Hecla aqua compressor in the blue. They seem to have come down in price since I last looked...

https://farer.com/products/hecla

My “grail watch” (kill me now) is a Sinn 856 UTC, but I’ve yet to “pull the trigger” (make the death slow and painful) on one. Some “wrist time” (then hunt down my family) with it as a “daily driver” (kill everyone I know) would be where it’s at...
