Wife’s full of cold.

I should not have come home.

I should leave and go back to the truck.

To summarise, I won’t be up to me nuts in guts. I will be full of cold tomorrow.
M&S, You're an incurable old romantic, aren't you? smile

Has your missus got a bit of a cough? Has she lost her sense of taste and smell? Does she have a high temperature?
If so, she should get covid-tested.
As should you.

The Lurgy is out there. And it's rampant.

A good friend of mine thought she had a cold, because she works for the NHS she got tested and yep, it's positive.

Mig welding isn't that difficult compared to Tig welding but you'll have fun, just make sure not to get arc eye, that stings.

Somebody in GG is getting properly bent out of shape about SSC claiming their latest car did 316mph average. This person is pointing to all sorts of conspiracy theories to back up their claim that this is fake One suspects that they are a massive Koenigsegg fanboi and the fact this American car has rubbished their beloved Swede, is not sitting well.
Even when someone posted a link to a well proven data company that analyses GPS and which says the claim is valid, this fanboi is adamant that i'ts obllox and they've lied/cheated/murdered kittens/sold their relatives kittens to the devil.
Part of me wants to bait them just for giggles but life is too short to sit and read the inevitable drivel they will post in response.

Is it November already ?

Watched an ABBA documentary , seems it's every 2 weeks a new " ABBA story " is on tv .

Even if you don't like their music ,you have to admit they were geniuses of Euro 70s pop .

The Mama Mia films are off the cheese scale and Lily appears in the 2nd film .

My mate has emailed ,my only mate , he managed to squeeze into this year of fail , 3 Nurburgring trips and a trip to

Spa included on one of them too , and managed to escape any quarantines and local lockdowns .

He's now dipped under 8 minutes for the first time in his tuned Evo TME .

Envious much ?

Just a little or just a lot .

I haven't replied yet , he thinks I've been to Italy .

A lap of Spa in under 8 minutes?

Pah!

I could do zat in a van! driving

Only kidding Peri, I know you mean the 'Ring.
That's impressive.
I have done one lap of Nurburgring in less than a day. rofl
Terrifying.

I do love Spa though, it is one of the best driving and spectator circuits IMO.

Ah well, I'm off to bed now. Sleep tight Trivialites. Stay safe. wavey

Best lap from Bridge to Gantry at the Ring I did was about 10m 30+ seconds in a mild tune Cos .

Escort Cosworths are too flabby and heavy as standard and me binning it was not an option .

Mate said he saw a Polo bin it big on his last trip and has persuaded his missus to wear a helmet from now on .

Also said he managed 49 laps in just 3 trips ,possibly his most ever .

His tyres are toast .

I'm going again now ,see you in Decnuary .....byebye

say safe .......................and wash your hands .

Happy birthday Mrs G3org3y.

Quick top up at M6 diesel, as I’m off into the hinterlands today.

250 quid, a Costa and a bag of jelly babies later I depart.
