From one other household, travelling is discouraged unless it's for essential shopping, work or health care.
It's 240 miles every weekend.

Oh look, today is the very last day of the Furlough Scheme.

Oh look, a new lockdown will be enforced by the looks of it.

Call me Mr Cynical/Grumpy/Tin Foil Hat Man but that is just too convenient for my liking
Boris said he's extending the furlough scheme until 3rd Dec

Interesting looking at the pic's of Stuntman's books there, I'll see if I can look out my copy of "World Cars 1981" or some such thing if anyone's interested?
Does it have a picture of an Aston Martin Bulldog on the cover?
It does indeed old boy, I'll go and have a look for it.

Pubs, bars, restaurants, non essential shops etc are to close, don't go out unless it's for essental reasons which include
Work unless you can work from home
medical reasons
shop for food
Essentially the same and they will re introduce the Tier system as and when it becomes necessary after lockdown.
But he considers that it is essential that schools, colleges and universities remain open.
Which is ironic considering that this second wave appears to have been triggered by these institutions re-opening at the beginning of September.

Please correct me if I have misunderstood this, and it is purely a coincidence.

Tonight is a night of Old Speckled Hen with Doombar chasers.

It's a burden not being a spirits drinker.
Spirits are only required on this Walpurgisnacht, Dicky. lick

I ventured out today for some essential supplies and a cabbage.

I purchased 12 cans of Abbot Ale, 8 cans of Old Speckled Hen, 4 bottles of Harper's Amber Ale, and a bottle of Dicky's favouritest wine: Red with a screw cap cloud9

So it's Trick or Treat night

I have so far only had 3 assorted pints. One more, and I may switch to the Tullibardine Sovereign. More by way of consolation than a treat after the lockdown announcement.

Last night, I didn't get on to the whisky but I did have quite a few pints before bed.

I think it helps keep the lurgy at bay. I am led to believe that it abhors alcohol. If it doesn't, it's not through lack of due diligence on my part. At least I will know I tried my very best.

What dates, Bobbers? Do you think there will be enough of us to fill it?

You could have consulted with all of us first though.

I may have to get my sporran reconditioned for the occasion.

Edit: You haven't booked it for the whole year, have you?

Have you???
