Honestly are you following lockdown rules?

Genuinely curious as most people i know are no longer restricting themselves and not following lockdown advice due to many reasons.

Im kind of on the fence, im not having big gatherings or anything but i have been to one or two close friends house for a bit and my brothers house so i can see my nephew.

How about yourselves?

Ive ceased to even try and understand all the "rules". Just do what i need to do, be sensible, and if an obstacle comes up, deal with it at the time.

I apply common sense for the safety and security of my loved ones. I follow the guidelines that I agree with but not everything. I refuse to wear a mask as they cause me distress, I really struggle to breath and feel ill after. I socially distance and don’t mix in groups etc. I work from home. Although a family member staying over doesn’t concern me. I wouldn’t be happy with a stranger staying over but I wouldn’t normally. Common sense seems to be doing our family ok up to now

I think we have done well to stay within the limits. Maybe on the odd occasion there might have been an extra person with us in an open space.

The other half's mum took seriously unwell during this. She is ok now. When it was serious there was a small gathering that was against the rules. In exceptional circumstances I wouldn't grudge anyone breaking the rules to a degree.

We haven't done anything too bad.

More or less... I have been going to my girlfriend's house and her to mine, plus my dad and one other friend since lockdown restrictions eased. All of us are being as careful as we can be though in terms of distancing and mask wearing. Whilst it was warm most of that time was spent outside, so all have reduced in frequency since the temp has dropped.
I'm now in a tier 2 area so pub and restaurant visits will now stop, which is where I've met my other friends since we were allowed, so I won't be seeing them for a while I imagine.
The biggest thing I've noticed is the increase in people not bothering with masks. Hopefully now people will start wearing again, but I think there was a certain amount of complacency once the nationwide lockdown was lifted.

I've got reason or real desire to pop over to Wales for the time being, so that one is easy.
As for the rest of it, not too sure what may or may not be allowed but I don't know anyone who is getting married soon so at least that particular potential breach is unlikely to happen for now.

Didn't wear a mask while watching a movie at the cinema last night. That might be jail time, it might be perfectly ok. Who knows, who cares?

That seems to be about right. fk the fact that is going to lead to a big old P.I.T.A. for everyone. As long as they are seen to be raging against the machine, that’s what counts. Never mind the deaths that are coming.

Why not just go with the guidance for the time being? Whether it is boolocks or not we won't know for a good while.
I have a antiviral snood around my neck. Something I wear a lot anyway when walking or cycling for warmth. It really isn't difficult to pull it up when going into a shop etc.
The anti makers, to me, are the same as flat earthers. Clueless, entrenched, bellllends.

My wife normally looks after our three grandchildren (from two households) on Mon/Tue - it was OK this week but it seems it isn't now as we're tier 2.

She's been plotting all sorts of ways of getting around it but is most un-nerved by the old couple across the road who have gone completely freaky about "the rules". She's sure they'd at least say something and possibly report us.
