Ah, got it now.
What about the house and the old lady?
Bollards in drive to prevent theft.

Could you see any way they might be circumvented?

You're assuming they're there to prevent theft rather than tts parking on their drive. As it's a small shopping car theft seems unlikely.

They're a bit pointless as you can just drive across the lawn.

Pointless for a single car but I bet they were located there because the house has 2 x cars and when both cars are parked nose to tail, they are too close to the bollards to manoeuvre anything off the drive.

Only while in the bag. Once unwrapped you could mould it into any shape you like.

I do worry about the sister ships "Farewell", "Auf Widersehen" and "Goodbye".

Seemingly a shop-front mascot, rare to find a combined café and knocking-shop these days.

See who backs down first? Carney threatened cutting electricity off to North America. How did that plan out?

Fear not. They have just elected the greatest political aficionado, Mark Carney.

Is there any chance please that we can keep the politics, especially the usual US tribalism, out of this thread? There are precious few places to escape it and enjoy some JUVENILE humour.

Not aimed specifically at the last few posts - been a recurring thing I've been biting my tongue (fingers?) about.
