I wish I'd got a picture of it now. Yesterday afternoon I was passing the entrance to the multi storey car park at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. At the entrance was a sign that said...

Car Park Full - Please Use Car Park

...I'm pretty sure there was meant to be a letter affixed to the sign, suggesting drivers head to a different car park, but the absence of any such letter made it all a bit "Monty Python".

Unless, of course, I misread the sign and it did suggest an alternative car park to use.

Certain phrases, sometimes remembered years later. Example - "that perpendicular ponce upstairs" - Harold Steptoe referring to his father Albert, feigning illness in bed. They simply don't write them like Steptoe any more.
