Yes the bank closing is bad news Bobber's. Some uk banks have closed accounts of expat's in Europe but not all. Fingers crossed that mine will stay open as we've heard nothing from Nat West.

Mavis is responding to anti biotics but still very tender on and in her chuff. But a happy little thing she is and is great fun.

Edit to add that she bought me a nice big wriggling lizards tail this afternoon!

Nat Wets? Is that still functioning as a bank? I thought they closed down and moved all existing funds to the Bank of Usavamunia?

Glad to hear agent M is responding to the anti-b's, Barnfind is doing well on them too.

Is that screaming I hear from below deck?

I didn't know we had another initiation today!! We still haven't tried to get pequod down to the Scrungeon for his initiation yet!!!

Speak up man, the aural function is not what it once was, what, what.

Shame about the bank of S&M ... did you have a particular reason to choose an obscure 'tinternet establishment?

You would do well to transfer your remaining funds to Coots & Co.

I missed Bobbers being banned?? 'ger grumpy i'd have had great fun with that laugh

In all my years i've only ever been banned from one website and that was for telling the truth on a Terry Pratchett fan site.
Oh... confused I thought it was a Terry and June forum that gave you the boot, for being a bit to keen.

OI!!!! Who's calling me rank?!?! Yeah I get a bit sweaty sometimes, and after a particularly enthusiastic initiation I can be covered in bodily fluids, and occasionally I dribble from both ends, but come off it, it's not that bad!!! frown

Apologies, I've had another look and it was in fact "bank bobbers". As you were.

Incidentally, has anyone ever tried stirring chilli powder into plain Marmite?

'Tis bloody hard work, I tell thee. I've bent two forks and a spoon already grumpy

Well the initial draw of M&S bank was the fact that we shop there a lot, the branch was in our local store and open whenever the shop was open, 7 days a week, from 0800 until 2000 hrs Monday to Saturday and 1000 until 1600 on a Sunday, plus they offered some very good incentives for people who regularly shopped in the store as perks to having an advantage account!!!

With reference to the slightly muttered bit, I don't know how to tell you this but we normally have an initiation ceremony involving "stuff" happening in the Scrungeon, involving various toys/plungers/gimp masks/restraints/custard/alcohol/ball gags/leather/whipped cream/etc , however we appear to have frightened off a couple of recent applicants once we asked them to sign the waivers and started discussing just how much fun we were going to have with them, so we've not raised the subject recently!!!

I see. Regular user just ripe to becoming an addict to the S&M products on offer. I assume you also get 'points' for good behaviour? I understand their fish counter is well respected although I cannot imagine how difficult it can be to add! Cod 'addock and so forth, it's just a shame that they haven't stocked whale meat again, don't know where, don't know when, but I know whale meat again, some sunny day!

As for the initiation ceremony, I have alerted the Whipping Boy who will attend at your, and His Scrumpnessess, convenience. He likes cream...

Today's tip
If you want a good quality car that can withstand a beating, get an Audi RS3.
Work mate was sat waiting at a junction in his Rover 600, guy comes flying down the road behind him in an RS3 and WALLOP shunted him 8 ft into the main road.

Rover is a write off and tha Audi doesn't even have a scratch on it yikes Strong old car that Audi yes
