If you like that film, then try Man on Fire as that is an excellent film and possibly Denzel's finest performance.

By the way, did someone let a round go?? It was whistling when it went past and i thought
"someone is going to wish that wasn't landing near them"
Completely agree about Man On Fire, he should have got an Oscar for it!!!

And the whistling projectile that passed you, er what direction would that be? I may have lit the ceremonial canon down by the gate house, how was i supposed to know it was loaded with a ball and not just wadding?!?!? eek
Well i was 'on watch*' over by Trivington On Sea and it shot past me going at a fair old lick i can tell you.

* them futtin Honey Otters have been seen over this way now but good old faithful and armour piercing rounds have taken care of a few, including one that was walking on it's hind legs and orchestrating things**

** at least that's what it looked like. Anyway, that futter is a goner now too yes

And in with the page 2 save bowtie

Well, i thought about being all macho and leaving a small cut on my arm for each one but that would be futtin sore!
I thought about writing it down too but lost my crayon during that *cough* hiccup with the verger and the rocket

So count up how many .50bmg rounds are missing, i'm pretty sparing with them and we should have about 6,000 of them at last count, so count up and what's left equals how many of the futtin things i've shot.

I once mistook "sombre" for "sombrero" on the 'dress code' part of an invitation.

That went down well at the bloody funeral, I can tell you grumpy

Watching Harry’s Garage, he is having his manual converted XJC V12 restored.

When it was fired up that V12 just sounded angry.

It could have been worse:

At least you didn't mistake them for a public urinal.

À l'eau, c'est l'heure! wavey

How long will it be before the raw water pump is fixed and you can get underway? Will the tide be favourable?
Where are you headed?

What are you you doing moored up in the Trivton Magna Basin in the Trivton Union Canal?

Went to bed early last night, well 10pm to be precise, slept quite well for a Sunday night!!!
Catching up with the goings on after my departure last night, I see anonymouseuser has joined us again, and I believe a new face in the form of Stick Legs, just how they managed to get such a large ship up the canal to the basin I have no idea!!!!
And you paint a fine image with your description slopes!!!
I can see how you made that mistake though Bomma old chap!!!!

And this is with the strong tea?

Constable Dunstable's predecessor, PC Laissez-Faire, just needed a, "Mornin Fred!" to be be wide awake and raring to go.*

*'Raring to go' is not an objective measure. Let's just say, "Raring to go by his standard."
