Fascinating history, some great old buildings, but start at Aldi and walk down Anglian Street to the historic Tuesday Market area...
OK, it’s a dock area and pretty poor, but still. Eye opener.

High Street/town centre was as expected, although surprisingly busy & I've not seen so many (tobacco) smokers for years.

Yep, Mrs Marky went fully blown "electric blue". I laughed, our 32 yr old sons laughed, their wives laughed. But we were all wrong. She has gone purple now.
A few years ago Mrs DS did her hair bright pink - I absolutely loved it. Sadly she won’t do it again, and I’m limited to her having pigtails on my birthday week. Jonmx said:
Kickboxing. I'm sure it's great fitness and all, but I'm yet to meet any practitioner who isn't utterly Council. Usually a tattoed, Andrew Tate type driving a naff Range Rover or BMW.
Add Boxing to that BJJ tends to attract the middle class types.
Capoeira tends to attract the foreign student/ airy fairy types
