They did something quite unusual and worked hard to do it, not sure how thats council?https://www.google.com/amp/s/metro.co.uk/2020/04/2...
I take your point tho, maybe it's my OCD thinking it'd be a grease and grime trap and that they did it for "likes" rather than practical use.
In hindsight - having seen your post, maybe less council more impractical.

E-scooters.
There was a post on Facebook today....multiple chavs defending the right to use them on the pavements because mobility scooters are allowed.
The sensible argument that mobility scooters do not do 30 mph were shot down by most, including a lady that claimed her daughter should be entitled to use hers as it is, in essence, a form of mobility transport as she gets bad feet. Whatever that means.

They're the natural evolution of hoverboards (Not the Back to The Future ones). Thankfully our local response officers hate the things and seem to be getting one or two a week and reporting them for no insurance etc. Most users I've seen look hard of thinking but not much else. Seemingly you must wear attire like the chaps below and be in possession of one of those cannabis handbags they always seem to have.

I preferred the before pic, but she has red hair so it fits in with her personality.https://www.google.com/amp/s/metro.co.uk/2020/04/2...
Doesn't meet the threshold of council I would say.
Some little twunt nearly collided with me and the dog on the pavement, coming round a blind bend on one. They could be great but the problem is you have something that goes quite fast, is fairly weighty and ridden in a lot of cases by cretins.
Saw a kid doing maybe 30 mph on an E bike without pedaling yesterday, was getting on for dark and no lights, went up onto the pavement and back off to get round a car turning right.
This is why they wont get made legal because they are like a cretin magnet at the moment, little tracksuited skip rats charging round with no clue or consideration and will spoil them as a possible option for those with half a brain.

I think the pennies would need a layer of lacquer or something on top to stop them going green and keep dirt out.
But year, just pennies on the wall? Will llook ste after not long
Clean the lot up with Duraglit, metal wadding. But year, just pennies on the wall? Will llook ste after not long
Dry them off with a couple of yellow dusters.
Then put on two coats of polyurethane clear gloss varnish
Wouldn't be too shabby.
And definitely not council
