Why the need to add on 'ith' to the correct name? That sound more like the work of a thick person tbf

Is it me or has this thread got massive traffic this week.
Is everyone seeing scantily clad councilesses and feeling dirty so they have to come here and disparage to cleanse their souls?
Vest-toptastic round our way both good and bad

3 Council names, all from parents not married yet. Having a Child before marriage = Council.

Orlaith is a traditional Irish name isn't it?
However, I support the rest of your statement.

It arrived here a week or so ago, and I thought it was quite late this year.I've also noticed (couldn't help it your honour) that bras are seriously out of fashion too. Unless it's a sports bra worn as a top.
It's almost back to the wonder years of the late 90s in terms of feminine fashion. Perhaps a function of my formative years aligning, but I absolutely bloody love it.

Hang on. Marriage is outdated rubbish. Not getting married has nothing to do with class status. 3 Council names, all from parents not married yet. Having a Child before marriage = Council.
Double-barrelled names, first or surnames: now similar.
BTW what happens when Miss Taylor-Wilkins marries Mr Anderson-Thomas. Do they become the created acronym?
Just asking...

On a similar vein to anyone with massive collections of Harry Potter, lord of the rings, Star Wars, Warcraft/ warlock tat.
Now I’m not daft: all the above is great, fun. I’ve bought my daughters Wands at Harry Potter world ( which is utterly amazing). But when all your clothing and yr house is on a theme, plus you think primary Harry Potter stuff is worth money, you are absolutely radio rental.
Especially with a double barrelled name.

Yes but I can understand that. For example I have a few first edition James Bond books, with dust jackets. I know they’re worth a few quid.
Collecting James Bond dvds in a gift set as “ limited edition”. Not in a million years.
Calling my children M and Q. I’m a nutter.
Or worse. Naming them after Miss Galore..Collecting James Bond dvds in a gift set as “ limited edition”. Not in a million years.
Calling my children M and Q. I’m a nutter.
