Looks like this weekend's heat will be short lived, mostly pushed away by Monday for most, and Monday night for all. Good chance of a reload after, but models are all struggling past the time point of Monday.

Right, done the work that needed dry weather, now I've got 3/4 of an acre of ground that needs rain so I can get the grass seed down.

When do we get the wet weather back? hehe

Feels like it could kick off.

Any signs of ignition?

It's hitting 36C in Colorado today. I might spontaneously combust, if that counts.

It's either foggy or muggy here. I've decided fog is preferable if you're cycling.

You should be able to see Corfe Castle behind the cyclists...

I'm looking forward to the temperature dropping that low.

I particularly like 'expect dry conditions over the next 6 hours' - I think they meant years.

Looking increasingly like that the after the warm weekend, things take a nose-dive. April shower type weather for 2nd half of June (winds from the NW thanks to low pressure in North Atlantic).

The low overnight temperature in the next ten days is....15c

Today is a creeper. Everytime I check the thermometer it's crept up a degree. Currently at 36c.

Interestingly, the further I got away from Denver, the temperature fell, which reinforces my belief that cities are hell ...

Official met office warnings for thunder Wed-Fri. Note, when warnings start so far right on the matrix this early, they tend to end up disappearing or ending up amber/red...

Cool. Hoping for a nice thunderstorm.

Did some gardening yesterday. Factor 30 on and my neck is still a bit pink. Don't normally burn easily.

Even hotter today.

Lovely BBQ yesterday in the sun great day with a group of mates I haven't seen for a while. Seen the warnings for thunderstorms for Wales haven't had a good storm for a good while.

I did the same, and now feel hungover for some reason today. hehe
