I'm convinced if Reebok started re-issuing the pump classics, they would do well. I'd certainly buy them.
They have done, but recently the retro versions have been poor/lethargic attempts at recreating the originals. E.g, the Twilight Zone pumps were missing the ERS from the heel and they were named the TZs instead (or something like that).

The attempt at re-releasing the CXT a couple of years ago was absolutely dreadful and inauthentic. Not only that, at £200, they were priced higher than Air Jordan 4s! Such a shame as the CXT was an iconic Reebok cross-trainer of the late eighties.

They remind me of the Nike Air Pegasus 83 that I've got in the same colourway as well. I like those too. thumbup

At first glance I thought they looked similar to the Decades x Heaven's Gate except for the tongue!

I quite fancied these when they came out. I didn't fancy getting stung with the duties and shipping costs. Apparently all the pumps were fully functional on them.

Aye!
Read up about them, apparently after the mass suicide, Nike discontinued the range and now they're sought after by collectors (and expensive to buy if you can find them)!

As an aside, the website for the cult is still running! https://www.heavensgate.com/

I've got a pair of the 79 Retro's and whilst I do really like them I really don't find them very comfortable. They feel almost like neither are Left/Right almost on my feet, it's hard to explain. Their the only pair of trainers where I have to double check I'm putting them on the correct foot rofl

Oh I just replied to someone else asking on the Traitors thread!

Yeah they also did a pair of Spiridons in the same pack which are a little cheaper. I have those but the Air Max 1 were very hard to get. The friends and family pair were amazing.

Spiridons (so comfy)
