Has anyone seen the brand new tub of Utterly Butterly that I put in the fridge yesterday afternoon?

I have just baked my crusty rolls to have with my lasagne and Robbopops Salad, and I was looking forward to spreading them thickly with the delicious butter substitute, butt it seems to have disappeared. frown

Utterly Butterly? Ah yes, Battert had a tub of that earlier.

One of those bloody sightseer / touristy types who were visiting today parked his car in front of the airfield fire truck, following a heated dispute Battert tarred and feathered him. I believe he was using the butter stuff to remove the tar from his hands, great believer in those old tricks he is.

There's a bottle of olive oil and a tub of cornflour in the pantry if you fancy a bash at making your own?

You may want to check with Dermot O'logical, he was looking for something to aid in his "wetsuit application" earlier, or at least that's what he says......yikes

What ho, chaps!

Gshoggy conditions hereabout today with constant dribble, which I must attend to.

IOT Mews: I is going to travel on a haeroplane soon, again. Much excitement albeit with some trepidation...

Will they let me onboard, can I take my own parachute, are drinks served prior to jumping off, and can my parrot come with me...?

So many questions, so little time to wait for officialdom!

Tally ho!

P

I trust your downplaying of the undoubted skills you possess is mere modesty, Bobbers? What the haeroplane service dept do with the wonderfully crafted parts which you make, is another matter!

I is taking my 'chute/liferaft/sharp knife with me just in case. I have seen 'Cast Away'...

I always reassure people with the following words of wisdom......
If starts and taxi's it's filled with bits I made,
If it coughs and splutters but moves, it was a Friday job,
If it fails to proceed, I wasn't working that day!!!

If you feel a bit of familiarisation may be beneficial toward your forthcoming adventure, I'm sure 'Capt. Robbo' would be pleased to take you for a few circuits and bumps in the old Sunderland.

Probably let you bale out over the Small Lake with your liferaft too, I shouldn't wonder.

I see visitor numbers are down, but it's to be expected with the monsoon like weather we're having, luckily no one abandoned any vehicles in stupid places, so we haven't had to get the Fordson out and tow anything today, although there's a suspicious looking old Italian thing where P5BNij normally parks, I guess we'll just have see if it's still there tomorrow!!!
He looks suspiciously like my Maser’s previous owner.... hehe
Did it come with a warranty?
Damnable cheek Sir!

Yes, it did. But it ran out in 1996 hehe

Morning all bounce

We're off to visit the Keynes of Milton this morning. Bit of respectable (for a change) business to do with our impending move it is, so we'll drive over there in a car.

Can't really rock up looking like a couple of extras from a Mad Max film, much as I'd like to.

We'll see how it goes.

Good morning all.

It's a bit chilly out there today.

Current plans include a trip to the ironmonger's shop followed by a much anticipated drive around part of the M25 to the A3 then to Putney (bus lanes and 20mph zones and lycra friendliness). Then back in time for the queue at the Dartford Tunnel.

I've just had a text message from the NHS informing me of today's whereabouts of the "Salford Vaccination Bus".

It's all fine and dandy, but Salford is a good 150 miles away and as far as I can remember I've never even been there. I've already had both of my jabs too confused

It's not the first message I've had from them concerning Salford and vaccinations either. What is it with Salford?
