Thanks chaps, but i've been kneeling here for ten minutes now Pastie Bloater and at my age that means it's going to take at least another ten minutes to get up again with an inordinate amount of grunting and groaning!!!!

Morning all bounce

By, it's a lovely sunny morning here again. We're off on a jolly to meet up with some friends, they live over Rugby way so that should be a nice little journey if we take the scenic route:

Well, Warwickshire at least. We'll see how it goes.

scratchchin Perhaps it was something to do with the outfit, slopes?

"... my dancing outfit consists of steel toe cap clogs, leg warmers, puce coloured shorts and tank top, one of those beanie hats with a propeller on it, welding gauntlets and a comedy Marx Brothers fake mustache/glasses combo..."

Good morning awl,
Today the week-long preparations are still under way for Daughter #1's Birthday BBQ Party.
As well as blackened burgers and burnt bangers, there will be beer, prosecco, ice cream and jelly, a paddling pool, a sandpit, scoot-along bikes, bubbles and balloons. Yay! party

And more beer. beerbeerbeer

Let's hope the weather plays nicely.

IOTN, the binmen have just emptied the black bins, which were supposed to be done yesterday. Last week they never turned up at all, so our bins were getting very full.
I hope they empty the brown (cans and bottles) bins next week, otherwise we will be in Knopfler territory.
I've already had to jump up and down on top of the present contents to compact them a bit.

No wonder there are reports of increased fly tipping locally.
I may resort to wasp tipping if matters get any worse...
Bloody yellow stripey little stingy buggers. frown
I think they're after the dregs of Mrs Robbo's wine bottles.

I have been out with Lady Slopes, her youngest daughter and our middle grand daughter to buy grand daughter some fiah for her birthday to go in her fiah tank.

Walking along behind as grand daughter #2 doesnt really know grand dad and went past a lady with a trolley, she let us past.
We had to stop and i thanked her for letting us past.
She winked and pinched my bum!! eek

Lady Slopes would have peeled her skin with a spoon if she had seen it happen yikes and very wisely i kept quiet. I dont want to make her angry as she is currently in a good mood

Evening all!

I attempted communication with Triv Towers earlier but was met by a 404 blockage and despite my lengthy, interesting, and 9.777 scale post, I can't be bothered to resend.

As an alternative, I present Mungo...

Been sat out in the garden most of the day and was feeling a bit hot and bothered.
Had a cooling shower and then decided to have a shave.
I haven’t had a proper shave since the start of lockdown.

Trusty old Muhle R41 and a fresh Feathers blade. Proraso soap lathered up and rubbed in using a Boris the badger hair brush.

Feels great but apparently I now look even more like my father yikes

BIG mistake IMHO, Your Scrumptiousness. High UV and newly uncovered facial skin is a recipe for scumburn/somebern/sunburn around the old fissog!!

Max Factor?

I tried wet sanding out scratches today…
Before (the white lines where scratches in the lacquer)

After

No in between pic as I was too busy stting myself that the flatted paintwork wouldn’t polish back up…

He's a deity, he snarls at the sun, waves his hand dismissively at UV, laughs at sunburn/someburn/bumburn and moisturises like a MoFo!!! yes

What ho chaps, beer number three on the go, it's still very warm here Dahn Sarf!!
