Important note re the Allwyn app
When Camelot ran the lottery the website and app were generally very robust/reliable.
Every since Allwyn took over and updated the app things have been utterly dire. There are repeated outages on the app, often it is not possible to deposit funds, and sometimes games are completely unavailable, especially in peak times in the run up to big draws. It is a total clusterf***, quite frankly.
I experience all of this pain quite regularly because I run a large work Euromillions syndicate.
Not much we can individually do about it unfortunately, but just a warning so that people pay Spud promptly, to give him enough time to buy tickets.
In my experience it is no longer possible to log on at, say, 6pm, to guarantee tickets bought for 7:30pm. You just cannot currently rely on the app being stable for it.
