Greetings, Trivialisti.

I'm taking boy number one for a trip on the North York Moors Railway today. Steam train from Pickering to Whitby, a few hours to mooch around, get fish & chips etc. then steam back again.

Morning all bounce

Came out of the same crate as the Blue Monday one, it did. Provided I don't get it mixed up with the one marked "Blue Steel" we should be good to go.

Anyhow, we're off to Norwich in a bit. Have a good day, y'all.

Today I went to town to pick up some bits and pieces. "Can you pick up some Evening Primrose oil?" she says as she can't find any anywhere.
So I call in at Lidlaldi and they have none in, is there a global shortage?
Just incase I missed it I ask the Lidlaldi guy. He says it must be over here and heads over to the cooking oil shelf.
How we laughed...
A good effort, 7.664 on the old Triv-o-meter, but more importantly did you manage to find some evening primrose oil for Mrs Evoluzione???

Futtette can spent the best part of a day in the hairdresser's, there is a fair bit of it to go at mind. It'd be a lot easier if she could drop it off in the morning and collect it later in the day, bit like you would having a car serviced.

Here she is a while ago:

I think that pic was taken from the front before she had her fringe trimmed. I could be wrong though.

Gentleman's advantage - I'm in'n'out in less than 5 mins with a number one. T'was not always so. Pisses off my teenager when I explain his probable future.

Sounds like the Alan B'Stard* method. ( He could make love to a woman in less than a minute...)

* A very shifty manipulative self-serving corrupt Tory MP, brilliantly portrayed by Rik Mayall in the comedy TV series "The New Statesman".
Rather stereotypical these days I suppose. rolleyes

Good Morning Trivvers! wavey

I'm late on parade this morning, but I had four amazing sleeps last night. smile
No wood this morning, but I have got a stiff shoulder. No doubt it will loosen up when I exercise the connective tissues that hold it in place on my skellington.Either that or the arm will drop off.

No matter, today I have to return to Stockpot on the Covid bus to exchange the case/wallet/cover thing that I bought a week ago for my new phone for one that fits.
I have given this priority over further fencing operations, much to the chagrin of Errin Dawes, who considers this to be the most important of all tasks and will not be happy until it's completed so she can find something else to moan about.

You see, when a man says that he will do something, he WILL do it.
He doesn't need reminding every six months. nono

See ya later crocodiles wavey

Bids are all over the shop , some selling well , others not , example , a Mercedes 1000 SEC ,that's a modded 560 ,

estimate at £15K to £18K , "sold" for £4K.....or likely not sold .

Ah yes, the immortal 'Sgt.Cutler's Only Car Parts Club Band' long player from the great lost 'Summer of trivia', got it on cassette, vinyl, and CD, just in case!

Which one is you Dicky...?

The 124 Coupe just went through the "block" , struggled to get a bid at £8K ,started at 7 and topped out at a huge.....

£8250 , estimated at 14 -17 .

I wanted it to be worth £20K .

Disappointed for the seller .

You ought to move over to East Anglia at this rate, Northamptonshire may even give a grant to improve their gene pool. smile
