Bernie Ecclestone although they may be able to jump start him again.

Michael Caine has been looking not so well recently

The BIg Yin is also looking very frail.

Maybe Paul McCartney too.

These are not wishes, more worries.

It'll be a very sad day for me when Keith Richards turns his toes up, but I wouldn't think it'll be long...

And Ronnie Wood too... frown

Rumours on Twitter that Janice Long has died. I hope they’re wrong.

FTFY.

We need to think less about what kind of world we're leaving for our kids, and more about what kind of world our kids will be leaving for Keith Richards.

And just how are you feeling, OP? Anyone in your family been feeling under the weather for a bit? Are they happy to feature in your ghoulish thread?

ps, couldn't care less about the 'celebrity' aspect, just wanting to guess at what sort of mindset you must have.

I see the usual ‘first to pop off’ thread has been closed in favour of this one. Perhaps a title change would be preferable, as I don’t think this should be restricted to ‘celebrities’. Very often the worthy people who never attained the rank of celebrity are the most interesting and deserved of our reflection.

As an example, is Desmond Tutu considered a celebrity? I am sorry to see him go, as he is one of the few churchmen I consider having contributed to the sum total of human happiness.

Paul Gascoigne.... He doesn’t look a well man.
Jimmy Tarbuck: One of the last of the ‘old school’ entertainers.
1966 World Cup team member.. .we usually lose one.

Plus there’s always some shock / horror ones...
NB: The Queen has to live to at least a hundred...HM has to get that card.

Like a lot of people are saying, these are just gut feelings, but just the sort of discussions that you normally have with family & friends.
Obviously.... there is no malice or ill wishes intended at all.
In fact... the complete opposite.

Been mentioned already but upon seeing the thread and before opening it up, this person popped straight in my head, the Queen.

Yup, I think she'll be around until her platinum jubilee but, in the autumn, who knows...

I'll add Clint Eastwood as I'm feeling lucky ... Punk

If I may be so bold to add Norman Tebbit ... I fear he may not be getting on his bike for the full 2022

Damn - this thread means that the last casualty of the year was the traditional "First to Pop Off in......" thread. I will mourn that....frown

Last thing you I saw him in was a play, he portrayed Orson Welles getting kidnapped in Norwich.... very weird.
