Spooky timing for me too. I was watching the Guy Garvey music retro on Sky the other night and DM were on. I was never really a fan and couldn't remember the name of the "quiet" member so was searching for him on Wiki.
Plus the song on https://www.heardle.app/ yesterday was Enjoy the Silence.....Whats on Second said:
Liotta was excellent in Copland.
great actor ?
who cares, he had the early Brando, dangerous look that casting
directors wanted, mean, moody and a bit shouty when riled.
Copland was a very under rated film Imho great actor ?

He had a small part in Field of Dreams which really made the film too.
And as yoy say, he could be more than a bit scary if he wanted to.

Lester Piggott has passed away - 9 times Derby winner.
I always remember his Spitting Image puppet, he was portrayed as mumbling incoherently, not being a horse racing fan I had never heard him speak in person. One day I did and it all became clear,,,,,,or not so clear RIP

I didnt realise he was that old, 86. I'd have had him down as younger than that. Times flies. zetec said:

Patricia Brake. I always remember her in Porridge as Fletcher's daughter.

I was very surprised to hear she was 79, would have thought 60’s.https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-6162...
She was another very distinctive British actress with loads of talent. Not many left now unfortunately.
