Sunniest, warmest March ever?
Nah I reckon 2020 was the best most recently, and 2011 this week (18th-25th) was absolutely glorious.
March 2020 was abysmal only really end of month when it got better Feb and early march rained constantly and caused huge flooding in South Wales. As soon as lockdown happened the warm weather started though.

That's crazy!

On another note - I was driving thru mid Wales for a weekend away in Abersoch and the mountains were on fire!

Now back home in Nantwich and it's raining, and forecast snow later today!

Date related fun.

That said, there's a small chance of 20 in the South next week. (It's after midday - no AF after midday!)

Saturday 26th March - drove from home - Newcastle to get the Amsterdam ferry, then over to Germany not far from Bremen for some work on the car and straight back again on the Tuesday afternoon. Properly warm, roof down all the way, sat on the balcony of our hotel drinking beer overlooking the harbour in Emden.

Arrived back in the U.K. and it was snowing. Simply shat down with rain and snow ever since, awful. I was in my garage last night and wearing two coats, frozen.

A photo from my sunny weekend. That was probably it for summer.

Just lashed it down, followed by a big clap of thunder in central London.

You must be near me in Knightsbridge. I was staring at the empty umbrella stand for a while!

Perfect grass growing weather here in South Leeds with sunshine and showers. Which i s a pain in the hoop as I can't cut it until tomorrow night at the earliest.

Just over the Pennines it's snow/hail/sun/high winds as it has been for the last week - no chance of doing anything outside, and it's so waterlogged it will be days to dry out. It's like winter has come back.

Yes, I was thining about cutting mine this weekend, but it's currently under 3 inches of wet snow, so that isn't happening.
