I have a garden log cabin workshop to get assembled & treated / weather-proof, ideally by mid April or I'm going to start running into bother with storage- I reckon 3 consecutive calm, dry days should be enough to get it done... I don't even mind if it's cold! Unfortunately it's looking like a complete impossibility at the moment. Each time I check the weather it just continually shows rain for the next 14 days
It was delivered in Feb just at the end of the last cold spell and since then I don't think we've had a single 24hr period without either a downpour or high winds or both here in Oxfordshire. Winter can officially do one.
Rant over!

Solar storm tonight - not a hope in hell of seeing anything with our current conditions!
Noticed a lot of chat about the aurora, this was an iPhone pic from my back garden in Aberdeenshire. I’m hoping it’s still going in half an hour or so when the battery for the proper camera is charged!

Anyone more fascinated by the lower part of the pic? What is going on?! I’m hoping it’s still going in half an hour or so when the battery for the proper camera is charged!

Snowed again last night in Colorado. 23rd of the season - it collected on grassy areas so I'll count it, but only about 10mm.
The residents of Southampton would consider that a blizzard. We’ve not had snow settle here since 2018 that I can remember. In my time living here (14 years) we’ve had 3 episodes of snow settling more than a few mm deep if memory serves. The chaos it causes is a source of great amusement for the rest of the country.djc206 said:
