Afternoon tea - lovely treat...

Just been witness to a car accident on the walk back from the castle with grandson. Car pulled out from a parking spot suddenly as another was driving past, rear bumper ripped off...
Woman pulling out claimed it wasn't her fault, the other woman shouldn't have been driving past... Police van just two cars behind said they weren't interested and to park up and swap details, shop came out to say they have cctv... I left my details as witness and we went to the sweet shop on the way home.
Bampi now very tired...

I wouldn't know where to begin, they all look lovely Bobbers! Which one did you choose, first?

ION: Just watched the Sarries v Quins match, and was one of the best I've seen for a while. Saracens prevailed, of course, but no disgrace for Quins who played their part in a brilliant game of 'Oddly -shaped Ball'!

IOTN: Despite (and probably because) the BSA being cocked (see my earlier perst) and ready to FIRE, Mr Roderick has been absent from sweeping up duty, today.

Ooo that’s a shame, you did Harewood, we’ve yet to do that but it looks really good.
It was really good hammo19, you should do it!!! Fair amount of grounds to walk, a small farm section, a couple of penguins, a lake with a ferry across from a walled garden, and currently a thought provoking display of Joshua Reynolds portraits.

All delicious, and no mistake!

I only wish my digestive system could manage these days!!

What's for Dinner?

ETA: Cook has prepared Fishy Pie, followed by B&B pudding, with cream.

It just occured to me: that GR Spec Yaris must have been going at a pharaoh lick to keep Oor Bomma in its' slipstream.
Unless it was in the queue for the Off Licence Counter round the back of the Tractor & Tailback.
I was actually in a Toyota too, a Hi Lux pick up truck in fact. Not the fastest thing on four wheels, granted, but I swear if they ever dropped the bomb it would be one of the few things still moving.

Indeed, you're not Bomma, but entering Gt Yarmuff with one was a wise move, I shouldn't wonder?

A nice fishy pie is a thing of joy!!!

Tonight's culinary delights were a prawn cocktail to start, followed by slow cooked pork belly, with pomme anna, braised spinach and spring onions, honey glazed carrots and a cider sauce for me, Mrs Bobbers chose the roasted chicken breast with roasted root veg!!!

Indeed, although fairly basic and crude it's quite comforting how endearing they can be. I really like the old thing.
